About the position

Aquify is looking to hire an experienced and versatile Digital Marketing Specialist to help build and grow our marketing endeavors. Our ideal candidate will help develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels to support lead generation efforts and brand recognition. You should have a strong grasp of current digital marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

This position represents an opportunity to help define a marketing strategy at a small but mighty company transitioning from startup to a growth oriented position in the market.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and execute project deliverables set forth by the President and Digital Strategy
  • Plan and execute various digital marketing campaigns through various channels including PPC, Paid Social, Affiliate and SEO
  • Provide creative and design support for brand development, promotional campaigns, and internal/external communications
  • Source, manage, and maintain digital applications and third-party platforms to make our marketing initiatives as effective and efficient as possible
  • Create social media content that is consistent with our brand goals, and engage with others in the aquatics industry
  • Provide insight into building campaigns audiences, conversion tracking, and other metrics to maximize impact and results
  • Collaborate with internal sales and engineering teams to help refine our lead generation efforts
  • Identify new advertising trends in our industry and opportunities within various platforms
  • Continuously monitor, review, and analyze digital campaign performance to improve and evolve tactics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Create monthly reports on digital metrics and measurements
  • Support the content management on the website
  • Producing digital content in the form of blog posts, case studies, newsletters, brochures, press releases
  • Producing and coordinating photo and video content for promotional material and instructional videos
  • Keep track of budget and optimize spend effectively
  • Evaluate competitors
  • Assist with day to day activities as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a professional setting
  • Experience with LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, HTML/CSS, WordPress, and Google Analytics, Google Workspace, Instagram, Facebook
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools like Hubspot
  • Strong data analysis and data driven thinking
  • Ability to work effectively with a remote team
  • A solution-oriented, independent individual with strong problem-solving skills
  • A self starter with ideas to bring to the table to help build and grow a successful digital marketing strategy
  • Understanding of current digital ad platforms and how to effectively apply design to achieve ROI targets
  • Photography, videography, and/or graphic design skills are an asset
  • Familiarity with the commercial aquatics industry an asset
  • Experience marketing to commercial/industrial/mechanical related audiences an asset
  • Possible travel to important project sites to produce marketing assets
  • Understanding of SEO best practices in content writing an asset

Location

Kelowna (office) or Vancouver (remote), BC, Canada preferred but elsewhere in Canada or the USA will be considered for the right fit.
