FIC-SF Interlock Controller

The FIC-SF Interlock controller is a fully custom designed swimming pool/spa equipment controller designed for use with sand filtration systems. The FIC-SF controller is designed to interlock the circulation, filtration, heat sources, ozone or ultra violet light generators, as well as all chemical treatment systems that are needed to safely and efficiently operate a commercial swimming pool/spa system. The FIC-SF Interlock controller links together all equipment within the system to operate together as one, ensuring proper start up, and shut down of all the equipment.

The pump control feature of the FIC-SF allows the operator to perform routine tasks in a faster more efficient manner. A programable timer shuts down heaters and specialty equipment before the circulation pump, allowing them to cool down by circulating water through them for a set amount of time before the pump shuts down. Backwash mode allows the circulation pump to be turned on by itself to perform a backwash of the sand filters while the rest of the pool/spa equipment remains disabled. When interlocked with the circulation pump VFD, the FIC-SF controller will automatically control the switching of pump speeds for filter, and backwash cycles, eliminating the need to operate valves to achieve the correct flow rate.
